It would still be annoying, but I could live with it. If it didn't render them that way, I wouldn't have much of a problem with it.
#SAMPLETANK 3 RELEASE DATE 2014 FULL VERSION#
I remember seeing around the time of this thread being started, that sampletank 3 had a free version, but for some reason this would not be useful to me, only the full version would, however sampletank 2 was also free, just harder to find, which if I recall, I downloaded, but did not install.Īnother case reported here status: "live with it" - which implies "REAPER is not built for live use" as far as I'm concerned.
#SAMPLETANK 3 RELEASE DATE 2014 HOW TO#
I'm just not sure exactly how to get this sampletank thing working. Then over time, from using, it will either never glitch, which will be joyous, or it will eventually glitch, and then I'll know it didn't work, rather than sit in front of reaper pressing play over and over, changing something here or there, and trying again. I think there is a free version I could use, and that could let me use the philharmonik samples somehow right? I think the best thing for me, to try and fix this, is to try it in sampletank. So, it is very difficult to try and sort of test with it.īut I very much appreciate your willingness to help. So, It might happen to me, and then I send it to you, and you use normal philharmonik, and it doesn't do it for 10-15 play throughs. Also, it doesn't happen every time at the same spot. So, if I were to try and build something simple to show you, I feel I'd have to spend a long time trying to figure that out. I can't decipher any sort of pattern at this point.
Idk whether I need to use multiple channels, or just one will work. Idk how simple it has to be in order to glitch. The MJ one, is maybe the simpler of the two, but it is still complex. That hip hop track, is nothing but battery and philharmonik, so doesn't really fit the simple bill. That one was a "you rock my world" remix., and the other one, was this kind of hip hop backing track I made. Sorry, I had meant to get back to you, and it slipped my mind for complicated reasons, but recently posted one of the tracks that was bothering me with this around that time, and it reminded of this. Can you save the Combi out of MP, replace MP by ST2.5 in your project and load the Combi in ST2.5 (having moved the MP library into ST2.5's and copied over the Combi) Meanwhile, just an idea - the ST2.5 engine is newer than the MP engine.
If you have a simple problem project using Philharmonik I could try to recreate the problem in ST3 and if so, report it to IK Multimedia. If the problem is reproducible in ST3 then IK Multimedia would investigate, I hope. You're right Philharmonik (MP) is now a legacy product and will not be updated. It's bad enough I would have to do it once. I could always just save it like that obviously, and then just go back to previous save to make alterations, but having to render all the stems again, is really not something I'd ever be interested in doing. Once I'm convinced it's a finished product. I think that's what I'm gonna have to do. Ya, me too, but for a final render as much of a pain as this would be, it would obviously be worth it. More tweaking, but generally I wish to keep the ability to modify any parameterĪt any time in the creative/mixing process. Luckily this time I didn't have to do any (muting others, so processing happened only on that group), finally I created a I was able to help it a bitīy upping the buffer size for render to 4096, yet it still managed to stick oneĪt the end I created stem groups of various instruments and render them separately It sometimes happened during playback as well. I experienced the same thing for the first time in my last project which wasĪlmost all VSTi, and a pretty heavy one (instruments with up to 3gb).
